India face Proteas challenge on the road to T20 World Cup

India vs South Africa, 1st T20I:

A young Indian outfit will be asked tough questions when it faces a sturdy South African side in first match of the three-game T20I series in Durban on Sunday.

Their captain, Hardik Pandya, is injured and won't be back until the Indian Premier League starts. Their top bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, is taking a break. And nobody really knows if Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be playing T20 cricket for India anymore

If Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli come back to the cricket team, the main players will be completely different from the team that's playing in South Africa right now.

The South Africa series represents the last major international T20 series for India before facing Afghanistan in mid-January.
